So as you may have guessed today we went to Stuttgart. there we went to the Dimler-Benz Mercedes-Benz, or whetever they call it, mesuem. It was full of........(building suspense).......CARS!!!!!! who ever would have guessed, right. So that was preaty exciting (it was?) and then we went to this restruant that had some sort of food (no duh) including pizza. I wanted pizza, but no one else did so I endewd up eeating most of a 30cm pizza by my self. I'm still full from that and it has been over 9 hours......(I feel sick). Then we tried to g o to the Stadium, but apprently you need reservations to get in and look around. (Who would have known?!?!?) SO went back to dowmtown, looked around the castle, (a very......interesting something of Versalles) and the had the rest if the day, until 6:25 to look around on out own. It was about 4 when we were realsed, let go, freed, (not seeming quite the right choice of words, but it is to late to think of better ones, maybe tomorrow I will....but prob'ly not.) so we had about 2.5 hours.
On the train ride back, we created a list of quotes that we don't want to forget, and of course, had a really good time remembering the moments when the quotes were said. (WHat would happen if the monkies got lose from the zoo?)
A small sorry for the sarcasm in the (). I really don't know what has made me so sarcastic today. I have been all day. (Yeah, and every other day of the world..... Stop that, bad self*slaps wrist*....no good, it's fun.......but I shouldn't.....yes you should......-Forget this, I'm going to bed before this gets any worse-........Worse!!!! I object to that remark.......yeah YOU would....what do you mean by that......by what......You know very well what.......No I don't so tell me......-I'm going to drive myself insane-.....a bit to late for that dear.....)

School???
Since today we spent in school, I'll just continue with telling about Berlin. So Monday we left at about ten in the morning. We got to Berlin at about five, walked to teh hotel, went to dinner then got to wander around the area until ten. The place we ate at was the German version of a buffet, you pay then get your food, but don't get to go back for secconds. There was this strawberry cake thing that was just amazing......I wonder if I can find the recipe........
The second day we went to the Brandenberg Gate, the famous crossing between east and west Berlin, we also visited Checkpoint Charlie, another famous crossing point.
From the top of the German Parliment buildiong the view was incredible, and there was this really cool piramid thing that was made out of mirrors.. The arcatecture was really cool. the piramid thing was housed in a glass dome that you can go to the top of and see the entire city, one of the guys is making a panoramic from the pictures that he took from up there. cool:)
The Neues Palais (New Palace) was incredible. It might actually have been my favorate part of Berlin. It was built in the baroque style, really cool style. There was this hall that was called the grotto, it had seashells decorating it. wemade into all sorts of really amazing shapes, sea serpants, flowers, and more, it was just so amazing. I would post pictures of it, but it was forbiden to take pictures so I just have memories........*sigh*
the school that we visited was............different. it went throught the 10th grade but the average graduation age was 17/18......I just heard thunder again........for the past three days it has rained at least once, which was coll the first few times, now it is a little anoying, especially when our plans have to be changed/cancled. so back to the school......the 8th grade class that we visited had people who were 15 in it. for me that was way strange.
I have discovered this amazing type of tea, strawberry rehebarb. I don't normally like fruit teas, but this one is amazingly good, I love it. *mutters under breath* Bloody german keyboards, wrong place for the y key......
So the mesuems were kinda mostly closed, except for one that we got to spend a 1/2 hour in. We spent 1 hour in all the others, and finished in about twenty minutes. The one that we spent 1/2 hour in was really cool, it was filled with carvings and cool art, mostly of the really old era.
SO this is it for toady (at least right now....) so Tschüss

Today
WHOOT!!!!!! GERMANY WON 2-0 against Poland!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So last night was Germany's first game in the Euro cup. We went to a public viewing, the game was on a BIG screne in a open area. there were maybe 200 people packed into the area. There was food and drink, and since Germany won.......free beer. I didn't drink any, by the time the game was over, Claire and I were back home, because of the rain. Anyway, we had lots of fun there. There was also music of course the soccer staple, 'Hay Baby' (I want to know..............will you be my girl?)
Today Charlotte, Julianna, and I went to Holiday Park. a theme park with a really cool rollar coaster, voted the best in Europe, possibly the world....... While there we saw several of the guys, Nathan, Abraham, Josh, and their partners.

BERLIN
So we are back from Berlin and I have time to post. OMG. Berlin was just incredible. We went to the Brandenberg Gate the first day there, then to the German Parlimentay building. We didn't get to see the parlementary chambers, but we did get to go to the roof and had an awsome view of the city.
After that we went to the Holocust memorial and the mesuem. We ate lunch at a little polace across the street, well the meat eaters did, I ate later and got really good stuffed grape leaves. yummy.
The group split up after that, most of the guys going to car show room and the girls to a really big department store. it was really fun. I got lots of tea, 400 grams......that might keep me going for a while........ Then we had the rest of the day free, most went shopping.
the second day we went to see the Neues Plais. Fredreick II (aka Federick the Great) had it constructed in a braoque style. Saddle we were not permitted to take pictures, it would do........ something. We walked anout a mile to the other palace, but didn't get to go in there, because it wasn't open until 2:15, we were there at 1. We ate lunch at a nice restruant, got lost and then had the rest of the day free. More shopping!!!! ;D
The third day we went to visit another school, funny story from there comming later. We wne t to a park and had a picnic. it was quite fun. We then went to the memorial dedicated to the Berlin Airlift. The roses there smell really good, and look nice......why don't we have any like that???. A group went to the zoo after that where 7 of us got to see a tiger swim after a duck. that was so amazing, we alkso heard a lion roar (my bones vibrated) and saw two adorable little leoprd cubs.
the last day we went to the Berliner Dome, a massive cathederal. Every big european city has one, Londen had Westminster Abby, Paris Notre Dame and so on. The arcatecture was just undescribably cool. The rest of the day we spent on Meseuminsl, or Mesuem Island. We went to some really cool mesuems, mainly dealing with the Greeks, Romans and Bizintines. We finished at about 4 and got the rest of the day free to pack and do any final shopping. about half of the group went to a dance club, and amazingly came back sober. THey had fun, but I'm glad that I didn't go and got several more hours of sleep.
I'll talk more about Berlin in the next (several) posts, and include pictures, but for now I'm off to lunch and then the swimming pool, if it dosen't rain.......

O.K. fine. Here they are.....
This is part of the Castle in Heidelberg, from the inside courtyard looking up to the main biulding
This is a really cool staircase, also from Heidelberg, near where they kept the really big wine barrel. That is another story, and I'll tell that in the next post or when I remember. :)
This is part of Claire's family starting from the top is Tobias, me, Claire, and little sister Laura. Her mom took the photo.
This is one of Claire's cats, I don't know which one, they look a lot alike.....actually they look totally alike. (apprently it is Filou, Claire said so. I still cannot tell them appart.............)
So there are a few pictures, I will post more..............sometime....
(*whispers* I don't know what to call this one)
So today we went to an anusment park near Mosbach. Tripsdrill, I think it was called. So we walked around, rode lots of rides, it only had three roller coasters though. :( One was a crazy mouse, one was a wooden one and I don't remember what the other one was.
So we got to the amusment park at about noon and stayed there for perhaps five hours and then came back. On the way over there we went on the Autobahn, the German highway where there is no speed limit. We ended up almost going 200km. (I don't know what that is in mph). It was slightly.......different.
So tomorrow at ten we take the train to Berlin. I will try to post from there, but I don't know if I will be able to. While there I don't know exactly what we will do but I think we are going to several mesuems and perhaps a church or a synagouge. Should be lots of fun.
